URBAN TERRARIUM at ART SOUTERRAIN 2013

URBAN TERRARIUM will be on display at the EATON's CENTRE in Montreal for Art Souterrain 2013, March 2 - 17.  The exhibition will open the night of NUIT BLANCHE. Urban Terrarium is a video assemblage that combines photo-collage, hand-drawn animation, and filmed actors, to create an immersive videoscape of a fantastical metropolis. Based on cities I have visited and from my own imagination, the video panoramic allows viewers to get lost in a labyrinth of urban infrastructure.

OPENING HOURS: Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am - 7:00pm

URBAN TERRARIUM is located above the doors as you exit the mall into Metro Mcgill.

Interacciones Urbano_RURAL - Terra Una Brazil

I was selected to participate in a residency in Minas Gerais, Brazil.  The residency, Interacciones Urbano_rural invited 9 artists to the Eco Village Terra Una for 2 weeks to make a project.  Here are some of my photos.  With artists: Ícaro Lira [Rio de Janerio, Brasil], Julia Coelho [Recife, Brazil], Luis Bernardo Guzmán [Santiago, Chile], Fernando Godoy Monsalve [Chile], Florencia Frutera [Buenos Aires, Argentina] , David Behar Perahaia[Israel] & Chiara Mignani [Italy] , a l i n e b e r n a r d i [Rio de Janerio, Brasil]. Labsessions at SAT - Mini Residence at OBORO

Here are some photo documentation of my time at Oboro New Media Labs in September.  I had 4 full days to test out their new HD projectors, as an invitation follow up to Lab Sessions at SAT in May 2012.
